From IT Problems to Life Solutions
For over 30 years, I worked in IT. My job was solving complex problems, troubleshooting systems, and making sure everything flowed. But behind the technology, I always found myself drawn to something else — the people.
I was the one colleagues came to when they were stuck, stressed, or unsure. Friends would ring me, not just to fix their computers, but to talk through their lives. Helping people see clarity where there was confusion became second nature to me.
The truth? Coaching was always my real passion. I just didn’t call it that.
Why Coaching? Why Now?
For a long time, I kept coaching in the background. It was “just something I did” — a hobby, a way to help those around me. But over time, I realised:
- This wasn’t a hobby. It was my talent.
- People kept telling me I had a gift for seeing through the noise.
- The joy I felt when someone had their breakthrough moment was unmatched.
So I made the leap. I turned my passion into my profession. And Key Coaching was born.
My Style: Coaching Without the Bullsh*t
I don’t believe in over complicating things. Life’s too short for jargon, fluff, or endless theory. My approach is:
- Straightforward: I’ll say what needs to be said, with kindness and honesty.
- Practical: Tools, steps, and actions you can actually use.
